low cost vaccination clinics!

The HSBC hosts reduced cost vaccination clinics for dogs and cats the first and third Friday of each month. Each clinic lasts from 9:00 AM to 12 Noon and is first come, first served. No appointment is necessary. The next vaccination clinic is Friday, March 1st at the Lindy Scholar Center, 1801 N 11th St, Reading.

Microchip Implantation: $15

Rabies Vaccination: $21

Distemper Combination Vaccination: $21(protects against Parvovirus)

Deworming: $15

Dog Owners: Microchip implantation is required for dogs to receive services at our low-cost clinics. We require this because our statistics show that a microchip is the surest way to identify your animal and prevent him from staying in a shelter. If your dog already has a microchip, this service is not required. A current Berks County Dog License is also required for each dog. If you have the license, please remember to bring the paper with your information. If you do not have a dog license, you may license your dog at the Humane Society of Berks County.

Help Humane Society Veterinary Hospitals celebrate World Spay Day on February 26th, 2013! We're offering a reduced-cost dog spay & neuter event in our Reading hospital for all breeds. Does your dog need to be fixed? If he or she meets the following requirements and you qualify for our low-income services, give us a call at 610-921-VETS right away because space is limited.

Dogs must be under six years of age and in good health, and must have current rabies and distemper combination vaccines. If you would like to have your dog vaccinated prior to taking advantage of World Spay Day, please call us for an appointment or visit our low-cost vaccination clinic on January 4th (above.) The following fees will apply to our World Spay Day event:

You must pre-register for this event prior to February 22nd, 2013 by calling 610-921-VETS. Prepayment of fees for services is required prior to February 22nd. Thanks for helping us to celebrate World Spay Day!
