Prost! It's Oktoberfest in July when our iconic Pints for Pups Beer Tasting & Festival moves to the Reading Liederkranz! Join us on July 27th for a great afternoon of craft, micro and major market brews from local brewers and distributors. We're celebrating our Berks County roots in a big way this year with authentic German and Pennsylvania German food on our Pints buffet and German-American music by the Adlers!
Pints for Pups is an event where drinking a beer not only tastes good, it does good. As Berks County's only dog-friendly beer tasting to benefit people and animals in need, all proceeds from Pints for Pups go directly to veterinary and pet care programs for people and animals in some of our most underserved and impoverished areas.
We're welcoming all leashed, well-behaved dogs to come out and take part in the festivities. Any humans they bring along must be 21 years of age or older (please bring a valid ID!) We'll have plenty of beer for the tasting, non-alcoholic beverages for the designated drivers, and even some doggie "beer" and treats at Spike's Doggie Bar, courtesy of our friends at Awesome Dawgs Dog Training & The Dawg Store.
There are plenty of ways to enjoy Pints for Pups. General admission passes are just $40 per person and include entry to the main event from 4-7PM, access to our awesome buffet and a commemorative glass. For those who would like to do a little more to help the animals, we have VIP Passes for just $75 which give you all of the above as well as access to our exclusive VIP Hour from 3-4PM with special beers from some of our breweries. For businesses and Pinters who want to support the animals in a really big way, consider sponsoring Pints for Pups and get some great promotional benefits!
As always, we're looking out for those who look out for their friends. If you're a designated driver, your pass is just $20, whether your group is VIP or general admission. You'll have access to everything but the beer!
If you're an active or retired first responder (police, fire, or medical) or a member of the military, we want to thank you for your service with a special discount on your general admission or VIP pass.
